Top rankedIndios (12-4) recorded its fourth loss in La Vega on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Reales (8-7) 90-82 . Reales made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American-Iraqi guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American guard Malachi Richardson (197-1996, college: Syracuse) chipped in 23 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Luismal Ferreiras (200-2003) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and American guard BJ Fitzgerald (198-2000, college: Virginia St.) added 23 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Reales moved-up to fourth place. Indios at the other side still keep top position with four games lost.
